Bergamont Electric Bikes
Built in Germany for the rider who loves to ride.
Bergamont believe that the frame is as close to the heart of a bike as it can be. They teamed up with the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg where new frame designs are transformed into computer models to virtually test their strength and durability before the first prototypes are even put together. When the first of these prototypes are finished they are put through a series of gruelling tests at the EFBE-Institute to guarantee static and dynamic stability even under extreme use. The serial production always involves a lot of craftsmanship. All frames are welded or in case of carbon fibre frames are laminated by hand. The near perfect balance of the low mouned Bosch mid drive motor and the front facing Bosch e-bike battery make the E-Ville range of electric bike a pleasure to ride, even on a long journey.
I have in stock the Bergamont E-Ville step through with Bosch Motor / Battery. A brilliant bike at an unbelievable prie of only £1895.

The E-Ville delivers perfect riding pleasure for all audiences – never has a unisex E-Bike been this sexy. The defining feature of this iconic E-Bike is the Box-Flange Concept, a large one-piece frame part made from cast aluminium that not only integrates the battery and drive unit in the best possible way, it is also key to the E-Ville's outstanding stiffness and overall riding capabilities. Something that has always been problematic to achieve in a step-through frame design. The sleek and modern look is underlined by the self-supporting fenders and carrier system which makes it stands out from the masses.
If your looking for an electric bike with style, reliability and good looks then take a closer look at the Bergamont E-Ville range. You have a choice of the Bosch Active line motor or the more powerful Bosch Performance line motor. Both great to ride but for those of us who prefer that little bit extra then the Performance line motor is a must. The active line motor fitted to the Bergamont E-Ville C A8 is Grey / White, whilst the more powerful Performance line motor comes in a choice of a very pretty Yellow / Grey or Red / Grey. The bike is in a simular price range as the Kalkhoff Agattu 7G, The Gazelle Orange and the Raleigh Motus. Your choices are a rack mounted battery on the Raleigh and Gazelle, a battery located at the back of the seat tube on the Kalkhoff and on the Bergamont a battery fitted to the front of the seat tube. In my opinion the front seat tube mounting gives the Bergamaont a better centre of gravity with low mounted motor and slightly shorted wheel base making the Bergamont E-Ville a superb electric bike to ride. Now that's my opinion, you are welcome to come and try for yourself. All the e-bikes ride differently so I would say you need to try at least 3 electric bikes to find the one that suits you best.
